Welcome to our News in Brief page! Here we will celebrate some of the fantastic activities around our school in words and pictures.

School Proms

On Monday 23rd November 8 of our very talented violinists took part in the school proms held at the Royal Albert Hall. The children formed part of a cluster of other violinists from other Northampton primary schools. Jointly they performed with the Cornwall Youth Orchestra. The performance of ‘Prince Zal and the Simorgh’ was just outstanding! This particular piece of music also incorporated a narration which made the whole story come alive.

All of the children learnt the music from memory and were incredibly patient throughout the day. Particularly in our sound check rehearsal. Please click on the video links to listen to our rehearsals.

It was one of them lifetime experiences that I am sure that the children and parents who were involved will not forgot for a very long time! Fingers crossed we can make it back to the Royal Albert Hall in future years.

Junior Strictly Competition

16 Year 6 children competed in the Junior Strictly Competition at the Derngate theatre in Northampton. This was an exciting competition with over 500 children and 40 schools battling for the top spot.

Moulton's Salsa and Foxtrot won the hearts of the judges and we were awarded third place! Congratulations to all those involved and thank you to all those who supported us.
