Welcome to our News in Brief page! Here we will celebrate some of the fantastic activities around our school in words and pictures.

Summer Concert 2016

Last Thursday children from Year 1 to Year 6 took part in our end of year Summer Concert, which with the picnic blankets on the field, felt like our own Prom in the Park! The rain held off and the large audience of parents and staff were treated to an outstanding celebration of the children’s music and dance achievements throughout this year. There was wonderful singing from our choirs, superb instrument recitals from the Wind Band and Strings Group, as well as some outstanding solo performances, and fabulous ballroom dancing from our Year 2, Year 4 and Year 6 Junior Strictly groups.

I would like to thank Miss Ludlow, Mr Law, Miss Jones, Mrs Swallow and all the staff involved in putting together such a musical extravaganza!

Queen's 90th Tea Party Celebration

On Sunday, the school band participated in a celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday tea party. It was a great afternoon, even though the weather was a little gloomy! The children performed a selection of pieces that they had learnt throughout the year and were heavily congratulated by the public for their outstanding performance. Well done to all those involved.

If you would like to come and support the band, we are performing at a finale concert on Monday 20th June, 6pm at Spinney Hill Theatre (NSG). The band were selected to perform here after our winning performance at the Northampton Festival.  Entry is free to all, come and join us. It will be a great night.
