Cinderella Rockerfella

Year 6 held their end of year production this week, Cinderella Rockerfella. It was an amazing performance and the acting, singing and dancing was just brilliant.

In true panto style we had 2 ugly step sisters, who were fabulously mean and wicked.

Cinderella was sweet and kind but Fairy Nasty boots had very different ideas of destroying Cinderella's hopes and aspirations. But the fairy godmother came along and saved the day

with the fairy brigade! It was a very enjoyable and memorable performance and I am sure Year 6 will remember this production for a long time! A special well done also needs to be mentioned to the soloists, who were outstanding! Great work Year 6!

Year 5 and 6 Sports Day

We were blessed with not only wonderful weather on Wednesday morning, but with a fantastic Year 5 and 6 Sports Day. Even though we had a reduced amount of field space and that many of the events had to be re-imagined or be replaced with new events, it did not affect the overall enjoyment and the great level of athletic skill on show. The mornings athletics was eventually won by the defending champions Air, with Earth coming second, Fire third and Water a close fourth. As ever, it was competitive throughout but the children still supported, cheered, clapped and encouraged each other.

Well done to all the children for giving their all. A thank you to all the parents for coming and supporting and the members of staff who worked hard to ensure the events ran smoothly.
