Twitter - sharing school news!

Twitter - sharing school news!
We are keen to share with parents and families as much as we can about children’s time in school. Teachers take photos to capture their class’s learning and we use these in the weekly newsletter and on the website to give parents a glimpse into school life.

Safeguarding, however, is always our highest priority and children’s full names are never used for news stories or photo captions, so that children cannot be identified. Parents may withdraw permission for children’s photos to be used but we hope that they do not feel this is necessary due to the precautions stated above.

Many schools use Twitter as a tool to share information and show what is happening in school. We have used Twitter in the past for specific events, such as residential trips, but not in a general or regular way. We would now like to use Twitter to send out reminders or briefings about school events and also as a means for teachers to share news and pictures about what is happening in class. We will provide more information about how parents and families can sign up for this when we are ready to launch our Twitter account after the holiday.
These photos show some of the exciting and fun learning that has happened in school this week!

Family Safety and Well-being Event

Family Safety and Well-being Event

On 10.10.17 (World Mental Health Day) Moulton Primary school hosted our first ever Family Safety and Wellbeing event!  We are now working towards our Gold accreditation and Mental Health and Wellbeing are at the forefront of everything that we do at school.  We were excited to be supported by a wide range of specialist support groups including: Sleep Solutions (Scope,) ADHD Matters, Autism Concern, Specialist Support Services, Information and Advice Service, Jogo Behaviour, Northants Domestic Abuse Service, Solve it, PCSO's, Fire & Rescue Service and a variety of local clubs within the community!        Parental feedback was extremely positive and we were all impressed with the great turn out both in those supporting the event and the families who came along to visit too.
